The Red Sea International Company recently announced signing a contract with Italian industrial group Webuild S.p.A. to build a staff camp serving NEOM’s Trojena Dam project. The 12-month contract will allow the Red Sea International Company to design, manufacture, supply, and install prefabricated buildings at the NEOM project.

Project to include 2 phases

In addition, Red Sea International will install residential units and supporting buildings such as a mosque, dining halls, a medical clinic, and a gym at the project. The contract also includes civil works to serve the staff camp for the Trojena Dam project at NEOM.

In a statement to the Saudi Exchange, the company revealed that it will execute the project in two phases. The first phase will begin immediately and the second phase will commence following the client’s approval and in accordance with the contractual terms.

Red Sea International added that it expects the financial impact of the project to begin during the third quarter of 2024 until the end of 2025.

$4.7 billion Trojena Dam contract

Earlier this year, NEOM commissioned Webuild to construct three dams to form a freshwater lake for the ski resort, as well as a series of innovative related works for the Trojena project under a $4.7 billion contract that places the group among the corporations leading the development of the futuristic NEOM region.
