Uniting the hospitality investment community

In collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s G20 Secretariat, FHS Saudi Arabia was introduced in 2020 as a platform that unites key figures and influencers from the hospitality investment community. This prestigious event facilitates discussions on development, investment, entrepreneurship, sustainability, innovation, and human capital, while providing valuable insights into the ongoing expansion of the Kingdom’s hospitality and tourism sectors. Hosted with the generous sponsorship of Al Faisaliah Hotel and Al Khozama Investment, this will be the seventh industry conference organized by The Bench specifically tailored for the Saudi market.

“We are thrilled to welcome back Al Faisaliah Hotel and Al Khozama Investment as our host sponsors after the resounding success of this year’s event at the iconic Al Faisaliah Hotel,” said Jonathan Worsley, chairman of The Bench. “The objectives of FHS Saudi Arabia are strategically aligned with Vision 2030, and our carefully curated programme will focus on the development and sustainable growth of the hospitality industry in Saudi Arabia, the adoption of tech, innovation and entrepreneurship in the sector, as well as investment and job creation opportunities.”

Under the theme “Invest in Tomorrow: Today, Together,” FHS Saudi Arabia 2024 will delve into the Kingdom’s most recent advancements and tackle the industry’s most pressing subjects. The conference will feature dedicated tracks that explore hospitality investment, industry entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and human capital. Tanja Millner, Production director at The Bench, expressed excitement about the event’s development, highlighting the valuable contribution of the FHS Saudi Arabia Advisory Board in shaping the program. Their insights on topics and speakers will be transformed into a thought-provoking three-day agenda, following their meeting in Riyadh last month.

International exhibition

Alongside the primary conference sessions, the event will encompass an International Exhibition that highlights Saudi hospitality brands, presenting their projects and investment prospects. Furthermore, the Global Restaurant Investment Forum (GRIF) will facilitate connections between restaurant investors and operators. The event will also include specialized sessions for students, providing valuable networking opportunities and fostering business prospects. The comprehensive range of activities ensures a rich and diverse experience for all attendees.

The highly anticipated GRIF Culinary Tours, featuring revolutionary restaurant concepts in Saudi Arabia’s culinary scene, will make a return. Additionally, the Start-up Den will provide a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to a panel of investor judges. These exciting events offer unique opportunities to explore innovative dining experiences and witness the entrepreneurial spirit in action.
