Saudi Telecom Company “stc Group,” the key digital enabler in the region, will participate in the Capacity Middle East 2023 conference in Dubai to showcase its technologies and digital solutions in the carriers and operators sector. Represented by “stc Saudi Arabia,” “stc Kuwait,” “stc Bahrain,” and the regional digital centre for the Middle East and North Africa region, Center3, the Group will highlight its latest digital services and advanced infrastructure projects to serve its clients locally, regionally, and internationally.
During the conference, the Group will also review its efforts to strengthen its leading position in the telecommunications sector in the Middle East through its investments in submarine cables to connect Europe, Asia, and Africa, as it recently announced. It will represent its subsidiary, Center3, and its participation in connecting the region with the “Africa 2 Pearls” system within the submarine cable project “Africa 2”.

Once completed, Africa 2 will become the world’s longest submarine cable and will provide safe and reliable communication and internet services across continents, adding landing stations in KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, UAE, Qatar, Iraq, Pakistan, and India.
Additionally, the Group will announce several agreements in partnership with several international technology companies during the conference from March 7 to March 9, 2023.
