Saudi Arabia will host the 19th Internet Governance Forum (IGF) from December 15-19, 2024, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh. This five-day event is anticipated to attract over 10,000 attendees from 160 countries, featuring more than 1,000 international speakers.

The Internet Governance Forum serves as a global multistakeholder platform, organized by the UN since 2006. It promotes discussions on internet-related public policy issues, encourages information sharing, and facilitates the exchange of experiences to develop effective solutions.

The forum strives to cultivate consensus among governments, the private sector, and non-profit organizations on policies that enhance global internet governance. Hosting the IGF this year underscores Saudi Arabia’s dedication to digital advancement and highlights its prominent role in ICT and digital governance. It positions the Kingdom as a key destination for international conferences and showcases its commitment to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
